How to Export and Save Timeline Video Footage

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to export and save timeline video footage using Avigilon Control Center. It includes detailed instructions and screenshots to help users navigate through the process. By following this guide, users can efficiently export and save video footage for future reference or analysis.


1. Open Avigilon Control Center and select the camera/s you wish to pull video from. Note: To export multiply camera in the same file, you must use the AVE format and ACC player.

2. Click Recorded button at the top

3. Click on the area in the timeline for video you wish to export

4. Right-Click "Add Export".  You can also access exports by click on the 3 dashes in top left corner and choose Export from the menu

5. Adjust your start/stop by sliding the bars, OR . . .

6. Changing the time in the Export box.

7. You can also adjust the recording time

8. Ensure you have your camera/s selected

9. Click "OK"

10. Video will now be placed in the Exports inside ACC, click on this link to take you there or you can also access exports by click on the 3 dashes in top left corner and choose Export from the menu.

11. Click the checkbox

12. Open AVE Options

13. Click the Format field

14. Select your format.  For this example we are using the widely accept MP4 format. Note: You will not have this option if capturing multiple cameras. You must use the Avigilon player for that.

15. Click "Timeline_1"

16. Adjust any other settings to your liking and Click "Export"

17. Click "Select a folder to store your exports"

18. When the download is completed, you can click on this link to bring you directly to where you downloaded the video to

19. To repeat the export, click this button to add your timeline back to the Exports.

20. Double-click on your newly created file to play the video.  Congratulations, you are now finished exporting a video.
